New to Blogging

I've been debating this for a long time.  Should I blog or not.  Do I really have enough time or more importantly do I have enough to say?  Well, I have tons to say. But the kicker is can I write in a way that will attract readers to start and continue to read my blogs?  That, I'm not sure about.  I do have wonderful friends that, will of course be "guest bloggers" and  write beautifully.  Maybe I'll hire them for full time editors??  Seriously though, I can ramble on and on about nothing and everything.  Make this simple introduction 3 pages long.  But, I'll try to keep my "long-winded-ness" to a minimum.  I will say this, don't expect this to be grammatically correct.  I'm the queen of run-on sentences.  My high school teacher hated it, so did my college professor for that matter.  So if you like everything with the right amount of commas & periods...um..sorry!

I wanted to start this blog for various reasons.  Mainly because I've been in the wedding industry for many years and have acquired certain knowledge that may be both helpful & entertaining.  Not only to the future bride, but to everyone that takes an interest.  I sleep, eat & drink weddings.  Everything from decor to food.  I research it all day and night. Surprised my computer hasn't crashed with all the pictures and websites I have saved.  Wait...maybe I shouldn't  say that...please, please don't crash!

I put so much into my weddings and events that once the lights go down and it's time to go, I literally will have no more to give.  I sleep for most of the following day, just recuperating.  I take a while to recoup, especially since I'm getting older.  Wait...did I just say that..ugh!! I've fallen, broken nails, got sunburned, got burned by candles, food & drink spilled on me...you name it, it's been done to me or I've done it to myself.

All in all, it's always a great night.  Even with all the good and sometimes bad, all  I can say is I love it.  There's is nothing more exciting than seeing a very happy couple and knowing that you had something to do with.  Their smiles make it all worth while!!
